The late Sean Wright, from Kissee Mills, Missouri, tragically lost his life due to a gun mishap where he was shot in the head. This sudden and tragic incident has left his family and friends in deep sorrow as they grapple with the unforeseen loss. Sean was a cherished family member and friend, known for bringing joy, love, and light to many lives.
His sister-in-law, Kristen Lamp, expressed her grief and need for support on Facebook, sharing, "To give my sister’s husband Sean Wright, a proper farewell… It was an honor to have him as a big brother, throughout the good times and the bad, we are all going to miss him." Kristen also mentioned that the family is still finalizing the details for the Celebration of Life and is gathering funds to cover the costs.
To help cover the funeral expenses and support his wife, Stephanie Wright, Kristen Lamp organized a GoFundMe campaign with a goal of $3,500. She wrote, "It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the sudden and tragic passing of Sean Wright… In this time of unimaginable grief, we are reaching out to our community for your support." The fundraiser aims to raise the necessary funds for burial/cremation services and a fitting farewell through a Celebration of Life.
The community has started to rally around the family. James Zimmerman commented on Facebook, "He will be missed but never forgotten, loved that guy," while Christine Cassidy added, "I still am in unbelief. This just can’t be happening."
Despite the profound grief, the family is finding solace in the support and prayers from friends and the community. Contributions, whether big or small, are deeply appreciated to ensure that Sean receives the dignified services and heartfelt tribute he deserves. Kristen emphasized their gratitude, saying, "We are grateful for your compassion and any support you can provide during this difficult time."
The date and location for Sean’s Celebration of Life are yet to be determined, but the family promises to announce it soon. In the meantime, they continue to navigate through this challenging period with the help of their community.
