The late Saul Barraza was from Buckeye, Arizona. His tragic death has left his family and friends in deep mourning. Saul was supposed to be in prison until his release date on June 27, 2024, but on June 21, 2024, he was found by the police on the side of the road at 2 AM. He was rushed to the hospital, where medical personnel had to resuscitate him. Unfortunately, Saul passed away, and now his family is seeking financial help to lay him to rest.
Armida Barraza, Saul’s sister, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to raise $7,000 to cover funeral expenses. In her heartfelt message on the fundraising page, Armida explains, “Hello all, My name is Armida Barraza. I am here to ask for financial help for My Mom (Maria Barraza) to lay her son (Saul Barraza) to rest. Anything helps! Truly. I know it’s rough out there for everyone right now but I know FAMILY will show up! Thank you all who have been there through this difficult time. It is truly appreciated!!”
Elizabeth Lizzy, a friend of Saul, shared her thoughts on Facebook, saying, "Please anyone that has it in their heart to share or donate. Help this mama lay her son to rest. He was such a good guy, in a lot of pain. He was always there when someone needed him. We will miss you, Saul."
The community has been called upon to support Saul’s family during this challenging time. Contributions can be made through the GoFundMe page or directly to Maria Barraza via Zelle. Armida’s message emphasizes the collective strength and support of the family during this period of grief.
