The late Santos Gonzales, a resident of Findlay, Ohio, passed away on May 12, 2024, at home surrounded by his loved ones. Santos had suffered a severe stroke in 2017, which led to his early retirement from Whirlpool. He was a compassionate man, remembered fondly for his smile, laugh, and hugs. A proud Army veteran, Santos cared deeply for his family and others.
Currently, the family is facing financial difficulties to cover the funeral expenses. Raquel Gonzales has organized a GoFundMe campaign titled "Support Santos’ Family in Their Time of Need," aiming to raise $8,000. So far, the fundraiser has collected $200 from four donations. Tonya Hamilton contributed $100, Lucinda Bash donated $25, Guadalupe Benavides gave $25, and Lauretta Collins offered $50.
AbraHammer Conant shared a heartfelt message on Facebook, urging people to support Santos’ family: "Hello everyone, Last month in April, Santos Quaid Gonzales’ dad Ralph passed away from heart failure. Quaid and Toni need financial help and whatever you are able to give is appreciated. Thank you for giving your time and concern and hopefully giving some peace and help to Quaid’s family."
The community’s support is crucial in helping the Gonzales family during this difficult time.
