The late Saahirah Crystal Dixon, who was expected to be born to Omar Dixon and Dominique, tragically passed away on June 28th. Dominique, six months pregnant with Saahirah, experienced severe bleeding and was rushed to the ER. Despite initial reassurances and being sent home to rest, the situation worsened. Upon returning to the hospital, they discovered that Saahirah had no heartbeat. Dominique endured the heart-wrenching process of giving birth to her stillborn daughter.
Omar and Dominique now face the difficult task of arranging for Saahirah’s cremation. Omar’s ongoing heart complications and Dominique’s financial burdens have made it impossible for them to cover the costs. In response, Sandra Boyd, Omar’s sister, has organized a fundraiser on GoFundMe to support them during this challenging time. Sandra aims to raise $1,000 to help cremate Saahirah and honor her memory.
"We ask for the help of the people so my niece can be cremated," Sandra wrote in her heartfelt plea. The community’s generosity and support are crucial for Omar and Dominique as they navigate this devastating loss.
