The late Rhonda Morrison, a cherished resident of Pasco County, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on June 3rd. Her sudden departure has left a profound void in the lives of her family and friends. Rhonda was a devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend to many. She leaves behind her grieving husband and three daughters, including Katelyn Morrison, a proud graduate of Seven Springs Middle School and Mitchell High School, where she served as the President of the Art Club.
Jacob Lee, a close family friend, shared his heartfelt condolences on Facebook, saying, “It is with great sorrow to say that my dear friend, Katelyn Morrison, and the rest of her siblings, have tragically and unexpectedly lost their mother. The Morrison’s are one of the most wonderful families I’ve ever had the pleasure of spending my time around. Rhonda will be so deeply missed.”
In the wake of this tragedy, Jessica Stephan, Rhonda’s sister, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to support the Morrison family during this difficult time. The fundraiser aims to raise $5,000 to help cover the costs of rent and funeral arrangements. So far, the campaign has raised $1,142 from 19 donations, with contributions ranging from $50 to $150. Jessica expressed her gratitude, stating, “I want to thank each and every person that takes the time to read this. Hug your loved ones, you never know when it’s your last chance.”
The community has been called upon to support the Morrison family in any way possible. Jacob Lee urged, “I ask for any member of this community, family, or Good Samaritan looking for a way to give back to the most lovely people I’ve known, to at least check out this GoFundMe link. Even the donation of the price of a small fry could make such a wonderful difference in their lives.”
The Morrison family is enduring a period of immense grief, compounded by the financial burden of securing their home and planning Rhonda’s memorial. The outpouring of support from friends, family, and community members underscores the love and solidarity surrounding them during this heartbreaking time.
