Randall Tardiff, Vancouver – The family and friends of Randall Tardiff are grieving his loss and trying to bring him back home to his final resting place. Randall passed away in April in Vancouver, and unfortunately, his family was not notified immediately. This tragedy is compounded by the fact that Randall and his brother Richard lost their parents at a young age due to neglect from the healthcare system.
Richard Tardiff, Randall’s brother, is spearheading a fundraising effort to gather the necessary funds to transport Randall’s body from Yellowknife to Aklavik, Northwest Territories. He has created a GoFundMe campaign to raise $3,000 to cover the costs. As of now, $100 CAD has been raised through three donations.
Stephanie Papik, a family member, shared her thoughts on Facebook, saying, "My cousin is trying to bring his brother Randall home. He passed in April in Vancouver and no one was notified. They lost both of their parents when they were quite young due to neglect from the healthcare system. Please consider donating even a small amount and sharing."
The donations so far include $50 from an anonymous donor, $25 from Stephanie Papik, and $25 from Francis (Frank) Galway. The family is appealing to the community for support to bring Randall home and give him the proper farewell he deserves.
