The late Quanchen Warmack passed away suddenly and unexpectedly from an unknown health complication. This tragic event has left her family, including her mother Janet Merz Warmack, father Andy Warmack, and sister Zhirtien Warmack, in deep shock. Quanchen, who would have celebrated her 27th birthday soon, had recently moved to Phoenix, Arizona, to begin a new chapter in her life. She was set to start teaching mathematics at the Phoenix Day School for the Deaf next month and to be with her boyfriend, Nekko Tolbert.
Quanchen had resigned from her previous job at the Kentucky School for the Deaf and did not have life insurance to cover the expenses. Her family is now facing the significant financial burden of bringing her home to Texas and preparing for her memorial. To help with these costs, Lisa LeVally has organized a GoFundMe fundraiser with a goal of $10,000. The family is asking for any contributions to assist them during this difficult time.
Quanchen was adopted from a Chinese orphanage along with her sister, Zhirtien, and they had recently celebrated thirteen years as a family. She was an accomplished individual, having graduated from Gallaudet University with a degree in Mathematics and worked as a STEM Tutor Coordinator. Quanchen was known for her brilliance, artistic talent, and love for teaching and her family.
In the words of her loved ones, "Quanchen was bright, beautiful, and fun. The world is a dimmer place without her." The family also shared a heartfelt message about Quanchen’s faith, stating that she was a believer in Jesus Christ and is now at peace in heaven. They ask for prayers and support as they navigate this immense loss.
This GoFundMe campaign is a way for the community to come together and support Quanchen’s family during their time of need. Every donation, no matter how small, is deeply appreciated.
