Priscilla Tezeno Arvie, a resident of Texas City, Texas, and a breast cancer survivor who later suffered from dementia, passed away unexpectedly on April 23, 2024. Her daughter, Brentney Bledsoe, has initiated a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for her funeral expenses and outstanding bills. Despite having life insurance, the coverage was insufficient to meet all financial needs associated with her passing.
Brentney shared on Facebook, urging the community for support, “Good morning fb. I am asking if anyone would like to donate to help us lay my mom to rest she had life insurance but not enough to cover everything no matter how big or small anything will help I will also keep everyone posted on the date her service will be. Thank you all in advance.” As of now, the fundraiser has collected $505 of the $5,000 goal with contributions from six donors.
The most significant donation came from Archie Schooler, who contributed $250. Other notable donations include $50 from both Christian Brooks and Morgan Ferrell, and $30 from Apiphany Mcafee. Every donation, big or small, is helping Brentney and her family in this difficult time, reflecting the community’s support and solidarity.
Priscilla’s story, shared by her daughter, outlines her long battle with health issues and the sudden nature of her demise which has left the family in a challenging financial situation. The fundraiser, hosted on GoFundMe since April 25, 2024, remains active as the family strives to reach their financial goal to honor Priscilla’s legacy and manage the immediate expenses following her death.
