The family is deeply grateful for any support, as stated by Honesty in her heartfelt appeal: "With heavy hearts, we reach out to you during this difficult time to share our story and humbly request your assistance. My name is Honesty, and I stand before you alongside my siblings to appeal for your generosity in honoring the memory of our beloved father, Prentice Hayes Spriggs."
Prentice Spriggs faced many challenges in life, particularly after the loss of his parents, which led to struggles with addiction. Despite these hardships, his love for his children remained unwavering. Honesty expressed the family’s pain and determination to honor their father’s memory: "Our dad found comfort in music and in the love he had for his children. But his life took a difficult turn after losing his parents, leading to struggles with addiction. Despite this, he remained our beloved father, and nothing could change that."
The injustice of Prentice’s untimely death has left his family devastated. Honesty, joined by Luva May and Daya Spriggs, shared their plea on Facebook, emphasizing the need for a respectful farewell: "They did him so dirty and no human being deserves that… anything helps and is greatly appreciated and please don’t hesitate to share."
The family hopes to give Prentice the dignified goodbye he deserves. As they navigate this journey of loss and remembrance, they find solace in the thought that he is now at peace. Honesty concluded the fundraiser’s appeal with gratitude: "Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your generosity during this difficult time."
