The late Piotr Stylba tragically passed away on June 10th at the young age of 44. His death was completely unexpected, leaving his family and friends in a state of shock and grief. Piotr meant everything to his family, especially to his mother, whose greatest wish is to lay her son to rest in his home country of Poland.
Krystian Max, sharing his thoughts on Facebook, expressed the family’s sorrow: "Our beloved Piotr Stylba tragically passed away on June 10th at the young age of 44. His death was completely unexpected, and our entire family is in shock. Piotr meant everything to us, especially his mother, our grandmother. Her greatest wish is to lay her son to rest in his home country of Poland, surrounded by loved ones who can pay their respects."
However, the cost of transporting Piotr’s body internationally is very expensive. Krystian Maksymiak, the organizer of a GoFundMe campaign, is reaching out to the community for donations to cover these funeral expenses and fees. "We are reaching out humbly to ask for donations to cover these funeral expenses and fees. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference and allow our nan the chance to properly grieve and say goodbye," Krystian stated.
As of today, the fundraiser has raised £70 out of a £3,500 goal, with donations from Honorata Mroz (£20) and Bogomil Petkov (£50). The family is grateful for any support they receive during this difficult time.
Wojciech Tatys commented, "Jezu, a co się stało?" reflecting the shock and disbelief surrounding Piotr’s sudden passing. Edyta Krzyżaniak-Siwak also expressed her condolences, showing the impact Piotr’s death has had on those who knew him.
This fundraiser not only aims to cover the immediate costs of transporting and burying Piotr in Poland but also highlights the financial and emotional challenges families face in times of unexpected tragedy. The support from the community is crucial in helping Piotr’s family fulfill his mother’s wish and providing her the space to grieve properly.
