This double tragedy has prompted the Minden Council High School class of 2024 to launch a fundraising campaign to support the victims’ families. Paula Mayer, who organized the GoFundMe campaign, aims to raise €5,000 to alleviate the financial burden on these families.
In her heartfelt plea on GoFundMe, Paula Mayer described the situation: "We celebrated our graduation ball at the GOP Bad Oeynhausen. That night, a horrific incident occurred, leaving Philippos and his best friend severely injured. Philippos has since passed away, and we need your support to help their families."
The fundraiser has already garnered €1,625 from 59 donations, with contributions continuing to pour in. Lisa Schwindt, one of the donors, commented, "Every little bit helps. Let’s come together to support these families in their time of need."
