The late Pablo Gamez from Claremont spent his entire life serving the Lord before passing away on June 22nd. His daughter, Lizette Gamez, is organizing a fundraiser to honor her father’s final wishes and give him the burial he asked for. The family is currently facing a difficult time as they mourn his loss.
Pablo had been struggling with various health issues over the last few months. During his last dialysis appointment, he went into cardiac arrest about 20 minutes into the session. This was the third time he lost oxygen and blood flow to the brain, which left him in critical condition. Despite days of testing and monitoring, there was no improvement in his condition. He began having frontal seizures without showing any signs of alertness, leading the family to make the heartbreaking decision to remove him from life support.
Lizette and her family are doing their best to honor Pablo’s memory and fulfill his burial wishes. They have set up a GoFundMe campaign with a goal of $20,000 to cover the burial expenses. So far, they have raised $20 from one donor, Arlene Sarenana. The family is asking for the community’s support and prayers during this difficult time.
Lizette emphasizes the importance of any donation that could assist them in honoring her father, and she appreciates all the support they have received. The fundraiser reflects a family’s effort to cope with their grief while trying to fulfill the final wishes of their beloved father.
