Nora Claire tragically passed away on July 1, 2024, while trying to save a puppy who fell into a pool. Her selfless act of bravery has left a deep void in the hearts of her family and the community of Lacey’s Spring.
Family and friends will gather to remember and honor Nora’s life on Saturday, July 6th at 11 am, with the funeral service taking place on Sunday, July 7th at 1 pm at Calvary Church in Lacey’s Spring.
A GoFundMe campaign organized by Kaia Noble is raising funds to help Nora’s parents, Redina Doran and her husband, with the funeral expenses. As of now, the campaign has raised $10,770, surpassing the initial goal of $8,000, thanks to the generous contributions of 108 donors. The recent and top donations include $25 from Melinda Martin and $2,350 from an anonymous donor.
Kaia Noble shared on the GoFundMe page, "Nora Claire went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2024, while trying to save a puppy… Please help us pay for the funeral expenses so Mom & Dad don’t have to bear that weight. All donations appreciated. Please pray for our family… this feels so unfair. Our deepest appreciation to all who help."
KD Robinson also shared on Facebook, "For everyone wanting to know about sweet Nora Claire. Arrangements are as followed: Family and friends will be with Nora on Saturday, July 6th at 11am and funeral service will be on Sunday, July 7th at 1pm. Service will be held at Calvary Church in Lacey’s Spring."
Nora Claire’s life and her final act of kindness have touched many, and her memory will continue to inspire those who knew her.
