Sage Connors, Nick’s child, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the funeral expenses. The fundraiser, titled "Support for Nick Killinger’s Funeral Costs," has a goal of $10,000. As of now, $250 has been raised from three generous donors: Joshua Lewis ($100), Abigail Scheer ($50), and Parker Nunes ($100). Sage expressed the unexpected nature of this loss, stating, "This was the last thing any of us would have expected."
The outpouring of support on social media highlights the impact Nick had on those who knew him. Tara Polcetti Lavertue shared a heartfelt message on Facebook, saying, "My heart is breaking right now for my love. As well as for Nick’s children, family and friends. Today is a very sad day. I didn’t get a chance to know Nick but my first impression was that of someone with a kind soul, soft eyes and his smile was uplifting." She urged others to help give Nick the funeral he deserves.
