Mr. Neely, a beloved father from Laceyville, Pennsylvania, has passed away, leaving his family and community in mourning. Kiona Neely, one of his children, has organized a fundraiser to help cover the costs of his funeral and the outstanding bills he left behind. Mr. Neely had been a steadfast supporter of his children throughout their lives.
For over 20 years, Mr. Neely battled Parkinson’s disease and was frequently hospitalized with pneumonia. Three weeks ago, he was admitted to the hospital again and, sadly, never returned home to be with his children and grandchildren. In his passing, Mr. Neely saved another person’s life through organ donation, a final act of generosity that his family takes immense pride in.
Kiona Neely and her siblings are now faced with the dual burden of grieving their father and managing the financial responsibilities he could no longer handle. The fundraiser aims to raise $14,000, but so far, only $120 has been donated by two generous supporters.
The Neely family is deeply appreciative of any support they receive during this difficult time. Their father’s legacy of love and selflessness continues to inspire them as they navigate this challenging period.
