The late Nathan Aldus, affectionately known as Nay Nay, tragically passed away on Friday, June 14th, 2024. His unexpected death has left his family and friends heartbroken. Nathan was cherished by many, including his sister Demi Willis, who has taken the initiative to organize a fundraiser to support his funeral costs and alleviate some financial burden from their mother.
Demi shared on the fundraiser page, "Nathan was loved by so many. He was the best Dad, Brother, Partner, and Son we could have asked for. He would always be the first to help anyone, always there for people whenever they needed him. He had our lives almost every day, but that was Nathan, a cheeky chap with a heart of gold!"
As of now, the fundraiser has raised £155 of its £5,000 goal, with donations from friends and family like Lisa Wraith, Kate Muir, and Ian Daly. The family aims to provide Nathan with the send-off he deserves and plans to donate any remaining funds to a men’s mental health charity.
The community has shown an outpouring of support on social media. Nikki Walker wrote, "Happy heavenly father’s day to our daddy Nathan Aldus. My heart is ripped out for our boys. I am devastated you have been taken from them far too soon. These boys love you more than millions. Their hearts are broken. We went down to the beach with balloons with some beautiful notes from your beautiful baby boys. Fly high up there, daddy. We love you all the world and back again, but you’re with the angels now. Sleep tight, daddy. Love, we all love you so very much."
Others echoed Nikki’s sentiments. Kelly Brooks commented, "Awww bless them," and Kerry Bulman shared, "Thinking of yous. Love yaz xx." Vicky Viksta Clark expressed, "Heartbreaking. Thinking of you all xxx."
Michelle O’Connor added, "Absolutely heartbreaking. Thinking of you all, Nikki. Sending love always. He will be with my Darren now. Fly high with the Angels, Nay Nay xxx."
Demi’s heartfelt message and the community’s support highlight the deep impact Nathan had on those around him and the collective effort to honor his memory.
