Nannette Marie Troutman, an iconic and trailblazing figure in her industry, has passed away, leaving a significant void in the lives of her family and the countless individuals she touched. Her son, Dennis Troutman, shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook, expressing his profound loss and the impact his mother had on him and many others.
Dennis wrote, "It is with a heavy heart, I’m here to announce that my beautiful mother, Nannette Marie Troutman, has passed away. She was an icon and trailblazer in her industry that helped countless people reach their potential and follow their dreams. As a friend to more people than anyone could imagine, she touched their hearts and impacted their lives in a way that will never be forgotten. More than anything else though, she was a mother to a son who was always there when I needed her and never failed to make me feel like I was her greatest achievement in life. I’ve become the man I am today because of her, and I will miss her forever."
The outpouring of support on social media underscores the deep impact Nannette had on her community. Friends and colleagues have shared their condolences, highlighting her generosity, support, and the lasting legacy she leaves behind.
Jason Glick commented, "Oh, Dennis. I am so sorry, brother. So much love to you from us as you grieve." Geno Romo echoed these sentiments, saying, "Dang! So Sorry to hear Dennis. She was there in my beginnings – What a great human. She will be sorely missed. Hugs brother."
Karen Johnson-Miller shared a heartfelt memory: "I am so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful mom. Words are not enough. I will cherish my memories and always be grateful for your mom believing in me and helping me to achieve what I have become today. None of it would have been possible had it not been for her."
To help Dennis through this difficult time, Debbie Gerber has organized a fundraiser titled "Stand with Dennis in His Time of Need." The fundraiser aims to cover the staggering costs of Nannette’s medical and bereavement expenses. So far, $510 has been raised out of the $15,000 goal, with contributions from several generous donors.
Debbie wrote, "Our beloved Nannette was taken from us far sooner than any of us could have been prepared for. She touched an incredible number of lives throughout her seventy years and will be missed so dearly. We would like to help cover the staggering costs of her remaining medical and bereavement expenses."
Nannette’s health began to decline and she was diagnosed with liver and kidney failure. Despite the numerous medical setbacks and treatments, her son Dennis stood by her, depleting his life savings to ensure she received the best care possible. The fundraiser seeks to alleviate some of the financial burden so Dennis can focus on grieving and remembering his beloved mother.
The location and date for Nannette’s Celebration of Life will be announced soon. In the meantime, the community continues to rally around Dennis, offering their love, support, and condolences during this incredibly challenging time.
