The late Myles Mauldin was involved in a tragic car accident on Monday morning in Mesquite Creek, Arizona. Myles, 33 years old, was a beloved husband and father, and his untimely death has left his family devastated. Myles was married to Mia and was the sole financial support for his wife and their 3-year-old son, Artemis.
According to a Facebook post by his aunt, Sara Barnes, Myles was taken from his family too soon. "It’s taken me a few days to be able to post about this heartbreaking news," Sara wrote. "He had a beautiful wife, Mia, and a 3-year-old son, Artemis, who depended on him in so many ways." She has requested prayers for her sister, Cari Sherman Mauldin, and her other children, Hunter Barnes, Mariah Mauldin, and Caitlin.
A GoFundMe page has been set up by Amanda Casper to help support Myles’ family during this difficult time. The fundraiser, titled "Support Myles’ Family in Their Time of Loss," has raised $220 of its $10,000 goal so far. Amanda wrote on the page, "Myles’ life was cut short by a careless person who was in too much of a hurry and ran a red light, T-boning him in the intersection. This devastating loss leaves Mia and Artemis without their main support."
Messages of condolence and support have been pouring in on social media. Randy Kemp expressed his sorrow, saying, "Oh Sara, so very sorry!" Donna Jacobs Chase added, "Sara, my deepest condolences," and Daryl Boyd Romero shared, "Sara, I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. Sending prayers to you and your family."
Myles’ memory will live on through the love and prayers of his family and friends. As his aunt Sara mentioned, "He loved the Lord and truly loved his family. He was so good and kind and thoughtful. He is a great loss to this world." The community is rallying to support Mia and Artemis, reflecting the profound impact Myles had on those around him.
