Fabiola Mobou shared heartfelt words on Facebook: “To die completely, a person must not only forget but be forgotten, and she who is not forgotten is not dead. It is with a heavy, heavy heart that I am sharing the passing of our beloved Monette Sears. Monette came to the UK to follow her dream, looking for a better life for her and her family. With her passing, Monette is leaving behind the legacy of kindness, compassion, courage, and generosity. She was a lovely person, a hardworking nurse that I had the pleasure to meet and work with. She didn’t have it easy here, but she never gave up. Monette made a difference in the lives of hundreds of patients over the years and her kindness, resilience, and positivity will always be remembered.”
