Megan Nuelle, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, tragically passed away on Sunday, May 12th, after a fierce battle with an aggressive form of sarcoma that lasted for 2.5 years. She was known for her positive spirit, generosity, and the deep love she had for her family and friends.
Her friend Becky Warnecke Rakers shared her grief on Facebook, saying, "My dear, sweet, friend & colleague Megan Nuelle gained her angel wings on Sunday. I’ll miss our long chats, lunches, dinners, visits, but most of all, our laughs. This selfless, beach-loving, vacation-taking momma loved living life. You touched so many lives and will be missed dearly."
The community is mourning the loss of Megan, who was not just a wonderful person but also an amazing wife and mother. Her commitment to creating beautiful memories with her children, Owen (7) and Blakeli (4), even during her difficult journey, touched everyone who knew her.
In her memory, a fundraiser has been organized by Lindsey Vernon to support Megan’s children. The campaign, "Honoring Megan Nuelle," aims to provide for Owen and Blakeli’s future, ensuring they have everything their mother wanted for them, from education to emotional support. So far, $1,745 has been raised towards the $10,000 goal.
