Louis A James passed away unexpectedly last week, leaving his family and community in Thibodaux, Louisiana, in mourning. His siblings, Kayla Authement and James Dugas (Hacksaw), are spearheading a fundraising campaign to cover his cremation and burial expenses.
Louis did not have life insurance, and his family is struggling financially. Their mother, who is on a fixed income and undergoing kidney dialysis while awaiting a donor, is especially affected by this sudden loss. The family aims to raise $4,000 to cover the funeral costs, with any additional funds going towards a headstone.
The community has started to rally around the fundraiser, with eight donations totaling $670 as of today. The donors include Michelle Boudreaux, Joe Caudill, Allen Lake, Robert Cazares, and Andrew Sheehan.
Kayla and James are appealing to friends, family, and social media for support during this difficult time, emphasizing the importance of holding loved ones close and expressing love to them.
Donations can be made through GoFundMe or directly to Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland or Houma, Louisiana, in lieu of flowers for Louis Anthony James.
