The late Ray Frame, a respected and well-known member of the Columbia community, has recently passed away, leaving his family and friends in deep mourning. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Jennifer M. Frame, and their children, Blake Andrew and Haley Mae Frame. His parents, Raymond A. Frame Sr. and LeAnn C. Alexander, as well as his sisters and extended family, are also grieving this sudden loss.
Ray was a Certified HVAC Maintenance Technical Engineer employed by the Columbia Community Unit School District #4, where he maintained all four schools for the past ten years. His dedication and hard work were recently recognized with a Certificate of Achievement. Ray was a member of the National Education Association and the Illinois Education Association, and he had previously been a member of the Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 36.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Ray was passionate about gun and knife collecting, four-wheeling, dirt bike riding, and history. He was known as a devoted husband, father, and a knowledgeable handyman who was always willing to help others.
Ray’s family is facing a difficult time and is seeking financial support to ease the burden. Abriel Mueller has organized a GoFundMe campaign to support the Frame family. So far, $300 has been raised out of the $5,000 goal, with donations from Alouise Braun and Erica Venne. The community is encouraged to contribute to help the family navigate through this challenging period.
Ray is preceded in death by his sister, Lisa D. Frame, and his grandparents and uncle. His loss has deeply affected those who knew him, and the community is coming together to support his family during this tragic time.
