The late Linda and John Picolo were beloved residents of Kenosha, Wisconsin. On May 24, 2024, Linda Picolo passed away, and just two weeks later, on June 8, 2024, her husband, John Picolo, followed her to their eternal resting place. Their daughters, Heather Picolo and Natasha Robins, are now facing the challenge of covering the costs associated with their parents’ cremation, interment, tombstone, and a celebration of their lives due to the absence of savings or insurance.
In response to this situation, Heather Picolo organized a GoFundMe campaign titled "Help Honor Linda and John Picolo’s Memory" to raise funds for these expenses. As of today, the campaign has raised $25 out of the $5,000 goal, with Rebecca Doud being the first donor.
Heather Lynn, in a Facebook post with Natasha Robins, expressed their gratitude for any donations received. "Our parents did not have any savings for their end of life. Any donations will go for their cremation, internment, tombstone, and celebration of their life. Thank you," Heather wrote.
The outpouring of support from friends and community members on social media reflects the impact Linda and John had on those around them. Sherry Liscomb commented, "Wow, I did not know, praying for you during this time. I am glad to have spent time together back in the day hugs and love." Jon Small shared, "My deepest condolences to you and Tasha. John and Linda were such a joy to grow up with. I miss them both dearly."
Other heartfelt messages came from Jackie Latino-Moran, Brittany Hittepole, Anita Tutt, Christy Maiwald, and Judy Palmer, all expressing their sorrow and offering prayers and support to Heather and Natasha. Erika Dorn also shared her condolences, stating, "Oh my goodness, Heather. I’m so sorry for your losses."
Heather Picolo and Natasha Robins continue to seek the community’s support during this difficult time, emphasizing the importance of collective effort in honoring their parents’ memory.
