Les Eugene Harloo, a young man from Bloomfield, New Mexico, passed away unexpectedly, leaving his family and community in deep sorrow. Les was only 23 years old. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, he was raised in Sanders, Arizona, and Bloomfield, NM. He leaves behind his girlfriend and two young sons, with another baby on the way.
Les’s family, particularly his mother Rochelle Russell and his uncle Sylvester Harloo, are striving to give him a proper memorial. They have organized a fundraiser to cover the funeral expenses and to support his immediate family during this difficult time. The fundraiser, created by Sylvester Harloo on June 28, 2024, has raised $195 of its $500 goal, with contributions from donors such as Jewel Thomas and Adriano Begaii.
Rochelle Russell shared on Facebook that a donation meeting was held on July 2nd at Salmon Park in Bloomfield, NM. She expressed her gratitude for the community’s support and prayers, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts during this challenging period.
Sylvester Harloo mentioned, "It is with a heavy heart that I announce my family and I are deeply saddened and left heartbroken by the unexpected and sudden loss of my nephew, Les Eugene Harloo." He further added that the funds raised will help lay Les to rest and provide some financial relief to his family.
The community has shown remarkable support, rallying around the Harloo family to help them honor Les’s memory and manage the expenses associated with his untimely death. The Harloo family continues to request prayers and donations, expressing profound gratitude for every bit of help received.
