Leon was a much-loved son, brother, and a devoted father to two beautiful daughters. His family and friends are profoundly devastated by his untimely death.
Detective Inspector Dale Mepstead from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit expressed the police’s condolences, stating, “Our thoughts are very much with Leon’s family and friends at this extremely difficult time.” He also thanked the public for their assistance and encouraged anyone with additional information to come forward.
The impact of Leon’s death is deeply felt within the community. His sister, Kyra Penman, has organized a fundraiser to help cover the funeral expenses. Kyra’s GoFundMe campaign has raised £700 of the £5,000 goal so far, with 19 donations. Among the contributors, Daniel Gorin made a significant donation of £100. Kyra hopes the funds will provide some financial support for their grieving mother.
