Kieron Leyden, affectionately known by his friends and family as Kez, recently passed away while on holiday in Lanzarote. He was there with his wife Debbie, his best friend Peter Fogg, and Peter’s wife Joanne. Carl Howarth, a friend of Kieron for about 45 years, shared on Facebook, "I’m absolutely devastated to hear the extremely sad news of our good friend Kieron Leyden passing away yesterday." Carl reminisced about the fantastic times they had in their youth and during the last seven years at BMX weekends, where Kieron’s jovial and spirited nature was a highlight. "He was as daft as a box of frogs, but you couldn’t help but love the guy!! I may even miss his snoring!! My thoughts are with Debbie & their family. RIP Kez."
In response to this tragedy, Andrew Charnock has organized a GoFundMe to help bring Kieron’s body home and support the family during this challenging time. The fundraiser, titled "RIP Kieron Leyden," has so far raised £145 of a £5,000 goal. Andrew Charnock, also known as Andy Charno, appealed on Facebook: "Hi, my name is Andy Charno. We are trying to raise some funds for a fellow radster and all-around true gent who sadly passed away recently on holiday. Please give what you can to help his family bring him home." This initiative reflects the community’s effort to support Kieron’s family in their time of need.
