The late Kevin Feeley was from Fort Lauderdale. The community and his long-time partner, Matt Harris, are struggling to prepare his memorial, so this news is devastating. Kevin was a beloved figure, cherished by many for his vibrant personality and dedication to his interests and community.
Kevin was a devout New York Yankees and Las Vegas Raiders fan. He was also a cherished softball player and member of the SFAAA Softball League for over 20 years. Additionally, Kevin was the most adored dog dad of his two Rottweilers, Raider and Rosie.
The SFAAA Softball League shared their grief on Facebook, stating, "We are all heartbroken by Kevin’s passing. Please help us support his long-time partner, Matt Harris, cover the end-of-life costs. We want to give Kevin the memorial he deserves to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes."
To assist with the memorial expenses, a GoFundMe campaign was organized by Ryan Schnell. The campaign aims to raise $2,500. Any donations that exceed the cost of memorial expenses will be donated to the Florida Rottweiler Rescue Ranch in Kevin’s memory. Ryan Schnell, the organizer, emphasized, "So many members of our community were devastated to hear about the passing of our beloved Kevin Feeley."
The community has rallied around the fundraiser, but more support is needed. This project reflects the deep impact Kevin had on those around him and the community’s desire to honor his memory.
