Keith Lee Sharp passed away unexpectedly on June 6, 2024. He was a loving father, husband, brother, and son. His passing has left his family, including his wife Nazhoni Sharp, his mother Sophia R. Lee, and his four children, in deep sorrow and struggling to come to terms with the loss.
The family is currently gathering at the residence of Sierra Bear in Moab at Spanish Valley Dr 3928 to mourn and support each other. Sierra Bear shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook, expressing the difficulty the family is facing: "It’s with sad news that we lost our brother Keith Lee Sharp. It is a very hard time for our family and my mother Sophia R. Lee and his wife Nazhoni Sharp." She invited friends and family to join them and asked for folding chairs to accommodate the gathering, along with food and donations.
A fundraiser has been organized by Sierra Sharp on GoFundMe to support Keith’s family during this challenging time. The goal is to raise $8,000 to cover the funeral expenses and provide the family with the means to give Keith a proper burial. Sierra wrote on the fundraiser page, "We are devastated by the news and struggling to come to terms with it. There are a lot of preparations that need to be made for his funeral, and we don’t have the means to give him a proper burial. We would appreciate any help you would be able to provide in this difficult time. Any little bit will help and thank you in advance."
The community has shown their support and sympathy. Deealivah J. Hatathley and Violet Ałnaabaa Yazzie, among others, expressed their condolences and prayers for the family on social media.
Keith Lee Sharp’s unexpected death has deeply affected his family and the community. The fundraiser aims to alleviate some of the financial burdens they face as they navigate through their grief and loss.
