Kaylin Falloway, a young mother from Owensboro, tragically passed away on June 11, 2024, at the age of 27. She leaves behind two young boys who are now being raised by her parents, Chris Falloway and his wife. The family is currently facing significant financial challenges as they prepare for Kaylin’s funeral and burial.
Anndrea Conder Mahoney, a close friend of Chris Falloway, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to support Kaylin’s final farewell and help with the costs of raising her children. In her heartfelt plea on Facebook, Anndrea shared, "To all my Facebook friends. I’m creating this go fund me page for my dear friend & painter, Chris Falloway who tragically lost his 27-year-old daughter and will now be raising his 2 grandchildren. Please help this family by donating and sharing this post with your friends."
The fundraiser, managed by Angela Carman, Kaylin’s aunt, was created on June 13, 2024, and has so far raised $220 out of the $11,000 goal from seven donations. Angela shared her grief and the family’s struggle, stating, "My 27-year-old niece passed away on June 11 at Owensboro Health Hospital. She leaves behind 2 young boys who are going to miss her dearly. Her mother and father are now raising her boys, and Kaylin didn’t have any type of insurance. It’s going to cost them $16,000 for everything to have her funeral and burial. I’m asking for any donations that anyone could help with. It can be sent to Haley McGinnis Funeral Home in reference to Kaylin Falloway."
The community has shown support, with donations from individuals like Kendall Mcknight, Lori Zaborac, Michael Sigler, and Margie Beauchamp. However, there is still a long way to go to meet the financial needs of the family.
Kaylin’s unexpected passing has left her family and friends in deep sorrow. The GoFundMe campaign reflects the community’s effort to come together and support a grieving family in their time of need.
