Kayla Rain Avalos, better known as Rain, moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in search of a better future. Sadly, Rain struggled with her health, particularly over the past year and a half, which ultimately led to her tragic and untimely death.
Rain was a genuine, kind, and uniquely gentle spirit. Her brother, Noah, described her as an angel and his best friend, sharing their dreams of traveling the world together. Despite facing numerous challenges, Rain selflessly sacrificed her own needs to take care of others, maintaining an untarnished spirit throughout her life.
Rain is survived by her father, two brothers, and three sisters, as well as countless friends across the United States. Her closest friends included her brother Noah, Brandon, and Siri. The sudden loss of Rain has left her family and friends devastated. They are now working to bring her home to California to celebrate her life near Venice, reflecting her creativity, true spirit, and free mind.
Monica Bennett, a close friend, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the costs of bringing Rain home and arranging her memorial service. The fundraiser has raised $1,455 of its $2,500 goal, with donations from individuals like Isabel Hamm, Katie Morris, Lauren Rendon, Paul Johnson, and Juju P.
Valerie Marie Romero shared her heartfelt sentiments on Facebook, saying, "This breaks my heart you could always make a room laugh."
Rain’s life and legacy have touched many, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. The community’s support during this difficult time has been a testament to the profound impact she had on the lives of so many.
