The late Kaizen John was a beloved baby boy from Wenatchee, Washington. His untimely passing on June 10, 2024, has left his family and friends heartbroken. Kaizen, born on August 14, 2023, brought immense joy and happiness to everyone around him during his short life.
Caitlyn Mercado has organized a GoFundMe campaign to support Kaizen’s parents, Alex and Kolby Cvitkovic, in covering the unexpected funeral expenses. The campaign, titled "Help Honor Kaizen John’s Short Life," aims to raise $8,000 to give Kaizen the memorial he deserves. So far, $1,250 has been raised from four generous donors.
Kaizen’s parents are deeply grieving and struggling with the overwhelming costs associated with their son’s funeral and memorial. Caitlyn Mercado, a close family friend, created the fundraiser with their permission to help ease the financial burden during this difficult time. She expresses the indescribable pain and loss they are experiencing, emphasizing the need for community support.
Jesse Lynn Eilers shared a heartfelt message on Facebook, urging everyone to donate and support the Cvitkovic family. "Hello all, please take the time to share this post. Donate to this lovely family if you’re able too. No one should ever have to go through this, so if we can all work together to take at least bill money off their shoulders that would be amazing," Jesse wrote.
The community’s response has been touching, with donations pouring in to help honor Kaizen’s memory. Sherrie Larsen donated $100, Michelle Grentz contributed $400, Jarrod Pack gave $500, and Gary Schoessler added $250 to the fund.
The fundraiser highlights the collective effort to provide comfort and support to a grieving family. Kaizen John, a happy, energetic, and healthy baby, left a lasting impact on everyone he met. His short life will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
As the Cvitkovic family navigates this tragic loss, they are grateful for the kindness and prayers they have received. The community’s generosity is a testament to the power of collective support during times of unimaginable sorrow.
