The late Juan Rodriguez was a cherished member of the Bell Gardens community. His sudden passing on the morning of May 24, 2024, after just one day in ICU, has left a profound void in the hearts of his loved ones.
Juan Rodriguez was more than just a family man; he was the life of the party, known for his infectious sense of humor and ability to bring joy and laughter to those around him. His love for his grandchildren and his favorite team, the LAKERS, was well-known and cherished by his family and friends.
His daughter, Donna Rodriguez, expressed her heartbreak on Facebook, saying, "This past Friday, I lost my beloved Dad. We are all heartbroken. My cousin helped with making this GoFundMe for the funeral cost. If you are able to help, we would appreciate it. Dad, we are broken without you but know you are with Eddie and the family now. Forever."
The family, led by Denise Navarro, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the funeral and memorial expenses. The campaign, titled "In Loving Memory of our Beloved Juan Rodriguez," has so far raised $775 of its $5,000 goal from three donations. Denise Navarro shared, "It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our Beloved Uncle Juan. He leaves behind his wife, two daughters, three grandchildren, four sisters, and an army of nephews, nieces, and friends."
Condolences have poured in from friends and community members. Steve Teubner wrote, "So sorry about the loss of your dad, sending you prayers, hugs, and lots of love." Pamela James Quintanilla added, "My deepest condolences, my friend Donna! May he rest in eternal paradise. Prayers." Monica Martinez also expressed her sympathy, saying, "Sorry for your loss. Sending you hugs and love."
The Rodriguez family greatly appreciates the support and love they have received during this difficult time. Juan Rodriguez will forever be remembered for his joyful spirit and the smiles he brought to everyone around him.
