The late Joshua Addison, a 15-year-old from St. Charles, Illinois, tragically passed away in a car accident on June 6, 2024. His sudden death has left his family and friends in deep mourning. Joshua’s mother, Rochelle, is struggling to cope with this unimaginable loss and is seeking support to honor her son’s life.
A GoFundMe campaign has been organized by Brenda Martin to help Rochelle with the expenses of laying Joshua to rest and to allow her the time she needs to grieve with her other children. The fundraiser, titled "Help Rochelle Honor Joshua’s Life," aims to raise $10,000. As of now, it has just been launched, and no donations have yet been made.
On Facebook, Zoraida Flores shared details about the upcoming celebration of life for Joshua, which will take place on June 12 from 3 pm to 8 pm at the lil banquet hall next to the Rio. Zoraida expressed the family’s wish to see Joshua’s friends, especially those he made while living with his father, and encouraged people to spread the word despite the short notice.
Tristin Hobeck responded to Zoraida’s post, offering to bring a side dish and expressing his intention to take off work to attend the event and support Joshua’s family. Donna Zinzer also engaged in the conversation, suggesting that the post be made shareable to reach a wider audience.
The unexpected death of Joshua Addison has left a significant void in the lives of his loved ones. His family and friends are rallying together to remember him and to support Rochelle during this difficult time. The fundraiser and celebration of life serve as a testament to the community’s effort to provide solace and honor Joshua’s memory.
