Johnny Martinez, a resident of Lake Elsinore, tragically passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024, due to a motorcycle accident. Johnny was known for his lively personality and his deep devotion to his family. He worked at USF Reddaway and attended Colton High.
His passing has left a significant void in the lives of his loved ones, including his wife and three children: a 15-year-old daughter, a 14-year-old son, and a 1-year-old son. The suddenness of his death has been devastating for the family, both emotionally and financially.
Ray Martinez, a family member, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the funeral expenses and support Johnny’s immediate family. The fundraiser, titled "We’ll miss you Johnny Martinez," has a goal of raising $20,000. As of now, $180 has been raised from three donations: $80 from Matt Bond, $20 from Victor Avila, and $80 from Bobby Tucker.
Melissa Nicole, a close friend since middle school, expressed her grief and urged for support, saying, "This was a close friend since middle school always considered him like my brother anything would help at this moment."
The community’s outpouring of love and support is crucial during this difficult time. Johnny’s family is grateful for any contributions that will help them honor his memory and provide for his children’s future.
