The late Jenny Kerner Williamson, her husband Steven "Bamm" Williamson, and their adopted cousin tragically lost their lives around June 28, 2024. Jenny and Steven, who had been together for over 20 years and married in February 2022, were devoted to their family and had raised their young cousin like their own son.
The devastating event has left Jenny’s sons, Linest Parfait IV and Jacob Parfait, struggling with the immense grief and the financial burden of funeral expenses and the clean-up process at their family home. Currently, the family is unable to enter the house until the clean-up is completed.
John Parfait and his sister Cyndi are organizing a fundraiser to support their nephews during this incredibly difficult time. The GoFundMe campaign aims to raise $30,000, with $150 raised so far from two donations. The funds will help cover the clean-up and funeral costs, allowing the boys to recover their family’s belongings and move forward.
John Parfait expressed that no amount of money can alleviate the pain Linest IV and Jacob are experiencing or answer the questions surrounding this tragedy. The family appreciates any donations, thoughts, and prayers to support them through their loss.
The Parfait family also emphasizes the importance of mental health support, urging anyone who knows someone struggling with mental illness to provide guidance and support as early intervention can be crucial.
