The late Jenifer Rollo was a beloved member of the Milton community. Jenifer passed away unexpectedly on June 5, 2024, due to complications following surgery. Her death has left a significant void in the lives of her friends and family, especially her two young sons, Aadyn and Gavin, aged 20 and 12, respectively.
Jenifer began experiencing medical issues in 2022, which ultimately led to her untimely passing. Her loss is deeply felt by those who knew her, particularly because of her kind heart and willingness to help others. Brittany Gray, Jenifer’s best friend of over ten years, has been especially affected. In a heartfelt Facebook post, Brittany shared, "I still can’t believe you are gone. All the laughter, tears, and sarcastic memories we shared will live on forever. My sister, my best friend, my ride or die—you are no longer in pain. You are with God and your Joe Rollo. I will miss your voice, I will miss your laugh, our late-night talks…everything. Fly high until we meet again. Jenifer Rollo, you are and will always be my sister. Love you so big."
Jenifer’s passing is compounded by the fact that she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Rollo, in 2021. Joe lost his life while saving their youngest son, a heroic act that has left their boys without both parents. To support Aadyn and Gavin during this difficult time, McKenna Bradley has organized a GoFundMe campaign, aiming to raise $10,000 to help cover their immediate needs and future expenses. McKenna explained, "Jen was a friend to all, kind to everyone, and loved with her entire heart. She had a heart of gold and was willing to do anything for her family and friends."
The community has rallied around Jenifer’s family, offering prayers and support. Numerous friends have expressed their condolences on social media. Kimberly Gilbert Foster wrote, "So very sorry for your loss. She is so beautiful and sweet! I pray she is right next to Jesus and her husband. I know it is so hard to lose anyone but your best friend is so heartbreaking. We are crying with you. Please know we love you and support you." Another friend, Sha Madden, reminisced, "I got to know Jennifer during her many stays at the hospital. She was truly a BEAUTIFUL person inside and out. Once I got caught up at work, I would go in her room and we would talk and laugh. Ohhhh the laughs we had."
Jenifer’s passing has left a deep impact on everyone who knew her. As Brittany Gray poignantly put it, "You were always there for me when I needed you no matter the time or place. Fly high until we meet again." The community continues to gather support for Aadyn and Gavin, ensuring that Jenifer’s legacy of love and kindness endures.
