The late Jaron Smith was from Adams County, Colorado. The community and his family are struggling to prepare his burial, so this news is devastating. Jaron’s aunt, Kenna Drager, has started a GoFundMe campaign to raise $8,000 for his final journey, aiming to give him the send-off he deserves after living a hard life. Kenna described the family’s grief and the deep love Jaron had for his family, friends, and motorcycle brothers.
On the GoFundMe page, Kenna wrote, "My nephew Jaron Smith unexpectedly died June 29th. We are asking for help to give him the send-off he deserves for living a hard life that was to no fault of his own. He loved his family, his friends, and his motorcycle brothers so deeply. If you can donate anything, please do."
Jaron Smith went to Arvada High School and was deeply connected to his community. The fundraiser, organized by Kenna Drager, also pledges that any excess funds will be donated to NAMI Jeffco and Autism Speaks.
Friends and family have taken to social media to express their grief and condolences. Bill Stawsky from Adams County shared, "You will be forever missed. You are one of our biggest supporters through good times and rough times! Never did you falter in your support and love for the Fly-In Wheels Nation. Life Time Supporter for ever and a Muther Fucking Day!!"
Other friends echoed this sentiment. Michele Stawsky commented, "Sorry for your loss, he was an amazing kid." Lisa Amato added, "Sorry for your loss brother." Kris Montoya expressed his emotions, saying, "I’m at a loss for words. I’m mad and upset. Not at him but at the situation. He will be greatly missed." Sara Gibson wrote, "Seriously a huge loss! May he be at peace! Forever loved and missed!" and Tina Serna added, "The sadness I feel is heavy. He was a great kid, loved so much by not only his brothers but he had sisters too, that loved and cared for him. May his soul find the peace he so greatly seeked, rest in power kid."
The community is coming together to support Jaron’s family during this difficult time, with heartfelt messages and donations pouring in to ensure he receives a proper farewell.
