The late Jamie ‘James Castle’ Stacey, a beloved figure in the wrestling community, passed away on Saturday, June 15th, after a courageous four-year battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Jamie, who was better known by his wrestling persona ‘The Anarchist’ James Castle, was a dedicated and respected member of the Revolution Pro Wrestling (RevPro) community.
Jamie was one of the first students at the RevPro Portsmouth School of Wrestling and the first wrestler trained from scratch to perform in main shows. His hard work, integrity, and leadership qualities made him a role model for many. Known for being the first to arrive at events and the last to leave, his commitment to his craft was unparalleled.
Andy Quildan, on behalf of Jamie’s wife Zoe Dines, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to support the family during this difficult time. The fundraiser, titled "Fundraiser for Zoe Dines by Andy Quildan," has a goal of £5,000. As of today, £818 has been raised from 24 donations. The campaign highlights Jamie’s determination to never ask for help during his battle, emphasizing the importance of supporting his wife Zoe, who stood by him through every challenge.
Jamie’s battle with leukemia was fought with dignity and strength, reflecting his character both inside and outside the wrestling ring. He was known for his intelligence, deep thinking, humor, and diverse interests. His passing is a significant loss to those who knew him and the wrestling community at large.
Revolution Pro Wrestling also shared their condolences and support for Jamie’s family on Facebook, stating, "Throughout his 4 year battle Jamie never once asked for help, but what we do know is more than anything he would want to make sure his family is looked after during this difficult time. If you can donate please do, if you can’t any shares would be greatly appreciated."
Sharon Chambers, a recent donor, contributed £20, while an anonymous donor gave £200, showing the community’s support for Zoe during this challenging period. Jamie’s legacy as ‘The Anarchist’ James Castle will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him and witness his journey.
