Israel Leal, Boise, Idaho – The community and his family are grappling with the heartbreaking loss of Israel Leal, who passed away on June 29 from pancreatic cancer. His wife, Cinthia Flores, is seeking support to manage his cremation and transport his ashes to Mexico. She has started a GoFundMe campaign to raise the necessary funds.
Cinthia Flores organized the fundraiser on July 2, 2024, with a goal of $5,000. So far, $325 has been raised through four donations. The contributors include the Totorica Family ($50), Olga Lorenzana ($100), an anonymous donor ($50), and Adela Rexach ($125).
One of Israel’s friends, Tylie Chavez, shared her sorrow on Facebook, stating, "My good friend’s dad has sadly passed away. Any way you can help out would be so, so amazing. Humberto is the most amazing part of the Boise community, and his mom has done the best job raising him. Any help is greatly appreciated."
The community’s response underscores the importance of coming together in times of grief and supporting each other.
The support from the community is vital to help Israel’s family during this difficult time, and the fundraiser reflects their need to honor his wishes and find some solace in their grief.
