The late Isaac James Baum was from Festus, Missouri. His family and friends are reeling from the devastating loss of their two-year-old son, who passed away on May 28, 2024. Isaac’s father, Michael Paul Baum, remembers him as a fun-loving boy who enjoyed simple pleasures like running around in his diaper, playing in the creek, picking up sticks, and splashing in the shower. Born on September 28, 2021, in Festus Crystal City, Missouri, Isaac’s short life was filled with joy and playfulness.
Tragically, Isaac passed away on the same day as his sister, Scarlet Parmeley Daugherty, alongside several friends and family members. This heartbreaking incident has left the Baum family in profound grief and facing significant financial challenges.
To help cover the funeral and hospital expenses, Colton Parayko has organized a GoFundMe campaign. The goal is to raise $33,000 to support Michael Paul Baum and his family during this extremely difficult time. All donations will go directly to Michael and will be delivered to his home in Festus, Missouri.
Isaac’s funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Drive, in Festus, Missouri, with Chad Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Ridge Cemetery in Desto, Missouri. The community is urged to support the Baum family by donating to the fundraiser and providing much-needed assistance during this tragic time.
