The late Hunter Russell was a vibrant 17-year-old from Morristown, Tennessee. Tragically, he lost his life on June 10, 2024, while riding his dirt bike, an activity he deeply loved. Hunter was known for his infectious happiness and his ability to bring joy to those around him.
To support Hunter’s father, Eric Russell, a GoFundMe campaign has been organized by Josh Bullard. The fundraiser, created today, has raised $1,100 of its $8,000 goal through 13 donations. Notable contributions include $100 from both Jonas Williams and Josh Bullard, and a recent $50 donation from Chelsie Wolfe. All proceeds will go directly to Eric Russell to help with the funeral expenses and memorial arrangements.
Cassidy Bullard, who is assisting with the fundraiser, shared on the GoFundMe page, "Hunter was a 17-year-old who loved life and made everyone around him laugh. Please remember the family in your prayers as the days proceed."
Hunter’s friend, Pacey Harless, expressed his sorrow on Facebook, saying, "Hunter was the sweetest, most outgoing, happiest person I have ever met. I’ve grown up with Hunter since we were both babies, and he was always the happiest kid and still the same happy young man. If you knew him, you knew he always had a smile on his face and never failed to put a smile on the people’s faces around him. Love you long time. Long live you always, Hunter."
Another friend, Caylynn Jakeley, simply wrote, "I miss my Hunter so much," capturing the grief felt by those close to him.
Hunter’s sudden passing has left a significant void in the lives of his family and friends. The community is rallying to support the Russell family during this difficult time, highlighting the collective effort to honor Hunter’s memory and assist his loved ones.
