The late Mr. Driscoll from Port Saint Lucie tragically took his own life on June 2nd, 2024. His family is now grappling with immense grief and financial strain as they try to arrange for his cremation and a proper urn. Holly Driscoll, his daughter, shared the heartbreaking news and the struggles they are facing due to the lack of life insurance.
Mr. Driscoll left behind his wife of 35 years, his daughter Holly, son-in-law Dustin, and two beloved grandchildren. Known for his kindness and willingness to help others, Mr. Driscoll had a significant impact on those around him. Holly described him as a hardworking, multi-talented man who brought joy and laughter to his family and friends. Despite his outward happiness, he struggled internally, which led to his tragic decision.
Holly’s family is seeking financial support through a GoFundMe campaign organized by Dustin Driscoll. The goal is to raise $7,000 to cover the costs of cremation and to create a comfortable living space for Holly’s mother, who will be moving into their home. So far, they have raised $240 from two donors, Kristen Worl and Gina Leserra, who contributed $40 and $200, respectively.
Jaime Fiore, a friend of the family, expressed her sorrow on Facebook, recalling Holly’s kindness and love for children, and urged everyone to pray for Holly, Dustin, and their children during this difficult time. Holly also reached out on social media, thanking everyone for their support and emphasizing the importance of any financial help they could receive.
The family appreciates any assistance, whether financial contributions or sharing their fundraiser, to help ease the burden of their loss and provide some closure for Holly’s mother.
