The late Guesgen Futila, a dedicated and talented house builder from Kinshasa, tragically passed away recently. Guesgen, who was 35 years old, leaves behind three young children, the youngest of whom is just 5 years old.
Guesgen’s life was one of resilience and hope. Having grown up as an orphan, he knew the hardships of life without parental support and worked tirelessly to ensure a better future for his own children. He dedicated his life to building a secure home and providing for his family.
Tragically, Guesgen’s life was cut short in a car accident. The driver involved fled the scene, taking no responsibility for the accident. Despite being taken to the hospital, Guesgen’s family could not afford the necessary medical treatment due to their financial constraints, and he passed away due to inadequate care.
Guesgen’s wife and relatives are now left heartbroken and without the means to cover his funeral costs. The family’s financial situation has become dire, and his children, already grieving their father’s loss, face the risk of further hardship and possibly ending up on the streets without assistance.
In this challenging time, the family urgently needs support. A GoFundMe campaign organized by Maria Futila aims to raise €10,000 to provide Guesgen with a dignified funeral and support his children’s education and daily living expenses. As of now, only €15 has been raised from two donations.
Every contribution, no matter how small, is crucial and brings hope to this grieving family. The community is urged to come together to help Guesgen’s family rebuild their lives and ensure a brighter future for his children.
