Francisco Aguilar Lopez, a long-time resident of Imperial Valley, California, passed away unexpectedly on June 7, 2024. He was a man of faith, dedicating his life to Christ, and was a loving father, brother, son, cousin, uncle, and grandfather. Francisco, also known as "Kiko," was deeply cherished by his family and community.
The Lopez family is now faced with the challenging task of arranging his funeral. Suzanne Lopez, his daughter, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to raise $10,000 to provide Francisco with a proper Christian burial. As of now, $100 has been raised, with Veronica Lopez being the first to donate.
The family has expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support they have received during this difficult time. They are asking for further donations and prayers to help them honor Francisco’s memory and fulfill his burial wishes.
Diane Aguilar shared on Facebook, "Our family is reaching out for heartfelt assistance in the passing of our beloved father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend who died unexpectedly of natural causes. He is survived by a son and daughter who are doing their best to lay their father to rest with the help of friends and family."
Other family members and friends also expressed their condolences on Facebook. Jacqueline Cosio posted, "RIP love you cousin," while Patty Cosio and Lynn Aguilar both shared, "RIP."
The Lopez family appreciates any form of support, whether it be through donations or keeping them in thoughts and prayers during this trying time.
