The late Evelyn Pineda was from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Her tragic passing has deeply affected her family and the community. Evelyn’s brother, Jeremias Pineda, is organizing a fundraiser to collect the necessary funds to send her body back to Guatemala, where she can be laid to rest near her family.
Evelyn Pineda tragically lost her life in a four-wheeling accident on June 9, 2024. The Pineda Guadron family is now reaching out for support to cover the costs of repatriating her body. As of today, they have raised $975 out of their $17,000 goal, with contributions from several donors including Wilmer Diaz, who donated $300, and Lucas Bonilla, who also contributed $300.
AJ’s Hardscaping shared their sorrow on Facebook, stating, "Our hearts are heavy today as we mourn the passing of Evelyn Pineda (Little sister of the owner). We ask that you keep our family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time."
Several other community members expressed their condolences. Aineel David commented, "We are sorry for your loss." Beth Dugas and Debby N Steve Shadle also shared their sympathies, highlighting the community’s support during this time of grief.
The family appreciates any assistance during this difficult period, as they strive to honor Evelyn’s memory and fulfill her final wish to be buried in Guatemala.
