The late Eunice Darensbourg from Baton Rouge passed away unexpectedly, leaving her family and community in deep mourning. Her sudden death has left her two children, Shivaz (15) and Siniyah (11), without their loving mother. Eunice’s brother, Brick Maurice Honore, shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook, expressing the family’s grief and need for support due to Eunice’s lack of life insurance.

UNFORTUNATELY SHE DIDN’T HAVE LIFE INSURANCE AND LEFT TWO KIDS SHIVAZ HER 15 YEAR OLD SON AND SINYAH HER 11 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. I’M ASKING FOR HELP TO BURY MY BABY SISTER."

In response to this tragic event, Aaron Green has organized a GoFundMe campaign titled "Help Honor Eunice’s Memory and Support Her Kids," aiming to raise $3,000 to cover funeral expenses and support Eunice’s children. The fundraiser page details the family’s devastation and their need for financial assistance to give Eunice a proper farewell and to support her children in this difficult time.
"Your donation will help cover the expenses associated with Eunice’s funeral and memorial service, allowing us to honor her memory in a meaningful way," the campaign states. "Moreover, your kindness and generosity will provide much-needed support to Shivaz and Siniyah as they navigate this difficult time without their beloved mother."
Shivaz also shared his heartfelt thoughts on the fundraiser page, saying, "I’m so sorry that we have to make a GoFundMe in the first place. I wish she was with us and we would be having the most fun in the world right now. It broke my heart to see my mother pass away, and I wish that I could talk to her one last time."
This fundraising effort is a poignant reminder of the vital role community support plays in helping families cope with unforeseen tragedies. The Darensbourg family is deeply appreciative of any contributions that will aid them in this trying period.
