The late Dayna Snow was from South Milwaukee. Tragically, Dayna took her own life, leaving her family and friends in deep sorrow. She was a talented artist who inspired those around her to achieve their best. Dayna’s sister, Isabelle Arts, has organized a fundraiser to cover the funeral expenses, as the family is struggling to find the necessary funds.
Isabelle created a GoFundMe campaign with a goal of $13,000. So far, $280 has been raised from four donations. Isabelle shared her heartbreak on the fundraising page, explaining that they lost Dayna suddenly and are in urgent need of financial support for her funeral.
Courtney Atchison, a cousin of Dayna, expressed her grief on Facebook, saying, "I love you my beautiful cousin always and forever. You took your own life way too soon. I’m forever gonna miss you. I’m forever grateful for the memories we have gotten to share. Fly high, my love Dayna Snow."
Other friends and family members also shared their condolences and memories on Facebook. Dale Gilbo mentioned that they were having a memorial for Dayna, while Mya Phillips, who spent time with Dayna every day, was devastated, saying, "Bro that shit just broke me I hanged with her everyday."
The outpouring of love and support from the community reflects the impact Dayna had on those around her. Despite their grief, the family is trying to honor her memory and provide a proper farewell. Alex Cruz poignantly remarked, "That’s my girl," capturing the affection and sadness felt by many.
The community’s response highlights the importance of coming together in times of tragedy and supporting one another through difficult times.
