David, only 25 years old, had bravely battled type one diabetes since the age of six. Known for his kindness, warmth, and generosity, David touched the lives of everyone he met.

"Dear Friends and Family, We are heartbroken to share that David Kalavsky suddenly passed away in Colorado," Lena wrote on the GoFundMe page. She urged people to contribute or share the campaign, noting, "Any contribution, no matter how small, would be deeply appreciated."
The funeral service for David will begin at 10 AM on Friday, June 21, at Northbrook Synagogue, followed by the burial at Sunset Memorial Cemetery at 11 AM. The fundraiser is being organized on behalf of David’s mother, Inna Kalavsky.
