Dave Paratto, a resident of Chapin, South Carolina, has sadly passed away on June 21st. His passing has left his community and family in mourning. Dave worked at Oak Ridge Y-12 Plant and the Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay. Unfortunately, he was not employed at the time of his death and did not have life insurance, creating a significant financial burden for his family regarding his final expenses.
Matthew Jewell, a close associate and organizer of the GoFundMe campaign titled "Helping Hand for Dave Paratto’s Final Expenses," has initiated a fundraiser to support Dave’s father in covering these costs. As of now, the fundraiser has raised $785 of its $5,000 goal from eight generous donors.
The fundraiser highlights the financial struggle faced by Dave’s family. Matthew Jewell expressed, "Any money raised will go to his father for his final expenses," emphasizing the urgent need for support due to the absence of life insurance.
Friends and acquaintances have shared their condolences and memories on Facebook. Traci Mitts urged, "Please consider donating if you knew David Paratto, or even if you didn’t it would be greatly appreciated by the family." Den-Ray Allen added, "Omg, my deepest condolences. He was a super nice guy." Patrick Dubber reminisced, "He worked for me years ago out at Vogtle. He was a good dude, sorry to hear this, my heart goes out to the family."
