Dave Cookus, a beloved resident of San Juan Capistrano, passed away suddenly on June 25, 2024. This unexpected loss has left his wife, Teri, and their young son, Cash, in a state of deep grief and in need of urgent support. The family is currently in the process of moving to Arizona and requires assistance with the expenses related to Dave’s memorial, cremation, and their relocation.

As of now, $742 has been raised out of the $10,000 goal, with donations from individuals like Leah Engel, Teresa L Barry, Joshua Friedman, Shad Niam, and Sierra Peterson.
Nicholas Roberts shared his thoughts on Facebook, urging the community to come together to support the Cookus family. He highlighted the profound impact Dave had on those around him and the importance of providing help to Teri and Cash as they navigate this challenging period.
The outpouring of support and donations reflects the love and respect the community had for Dave and their desire to assist his family in their time of need.
